If you are receiving java.io.IOExeption:Tunnel failed error when you try logging on to Paltalk Mobile™, TCP/APN settings need to be adjusted on your device.
In order to do that, you need to call your phone service provider and ask them about the APN/WAP settings.
- You need to collect gateway/proxy address, username and password from your phone service provider.
- Once you get them, go to settings on your BlackBerry phone> Advanced Options > TCP/IP settings. Make sure that you have a check mark on both APN Settings Enabled & APN Authentication Enabled boxes.
- Enter your gateway/proxy number/address under APN Settings Enabled and enter your username & password under APN Authentication Enabled section.
- Reboot your device and try to log on to Paltalk Mobile™.
