Subliminal Thought is a male and female group formed in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area in the winter of 2002. The co-founders and members of the group are Ja-Mel Wylie and Katrina Blunt (ChoSin).Ja-Mel and ChoSin have performed at several large and small venues here in the Washington, DC and Baltimore areas. The Baltimore Budweiser Superfest, Department of Transportation s Summer Concert Series and local clubs and cabarets are some of the venues where Subliminal Thought has performed. They also were runner up in the Poetry In Motion talent contest with the chance to open for Frankie Beverly and Maze. They have also performed most recently at the World Famous Apollo Theater in New York City. Subliminal Thought has an original sound and style that would be a breath of fresh air at a time where the Hip Hop sound tends to be the same.
