Today's News Talk Online on Paltalk.com focused on the issues that audience members want the candidates to address. Callers said they want the presumptive presidential candidates, John McCain and Barack Obama, to tell the nation their stances on the economy, health care and Iraq. They wanted to know what they would do, if elected president, about foreign policy in general. What about, one caller asked, the issues of poverty and the nation's infrastructure? Not well addressed, she said, thus far. Illegal immigration, said one caller, must be stopped or at least controlled. One caller suggested that the cost of the war is impeding the government's ability to address domestic issues, like homelessness. And one caller said he wants the candidates to address the issue of oil prices, arguing that he wants the next president to sanction an increase in the drilling of domestic oil.
