A soldier is someone, who at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to their country for an amount up to, and including, their life! The Afghan sand is soaked With blood and tears Too many good men gone forever Over the last 9 years No more Birthdays,Valentines Mother & Fathers Day,or even New Years Eve My heart goes out to the ones that are left behind Wiping the tears on there sleeves Our Soldiers are being killed And it's a knock on effect It's the loved o...nes that are left with the pain That we tend to neglect More needs to be done For the kids now without a dad The wives without a husband The Parents without there lad do we need to say anymore.i have been there and done it so never say i know how you feel until you have been there ok. it gets to me and others.
