About Me: From the driving percussive force of funky, latin and tribal techno to deeper minimal sounds, Daztek has been passionate about underground music
ever since he can remember. Aged 11, he received a keyboard/synthesizer as a Christmas present and began to improvise. He studied music during high school, picking up drumming along the way. His sense of rhythm grew, fuelling his passion for percussive techno. Upon graduating from university, Daztek spent more time listening to and mixing techno. His main influences include Swedish techno producers Adam Beyer, Cari Lekebusch, Hardcell and Johan Bacto (amongst many others). The pseudonym Daztek derives from his nickname (Daz) and his passion for techno (tek). His mixing style can be classified as funky, groovy and pounding... blended with occasional minimalistic tones. Since 2001, Paltalk has provided a means of broadcasting his live mixes, enabling him to create a vast network of friends. Be sure to catch him play in a Paltalk room near you!
