I was raised in a well-known cult and know what it's like to be shunned by family still in the cult. I went on to become degreed in Behavioral Science and eventually founded a ex-cult member support network in 2006 and authored a book on cult recovery in 2011. I have been recognized by the USA Honor Society, Biltmore Who's Who, and the National Assn. of Professional Women for my work.
