*Lest We Forget*....
Remembrance Day is here again,
On this day we remember all those who were slain.
The ones they left behind have endured much sorrow and pain.
But rest assured,
the whole world knows those brave ones didn't die in vain.
The poppies that you see people wear,
Are there to show you they still care.
We open our hearts so that we can share,
A moment of silence, and offer a prayer.
To all the soldiers who died saving our country.

*after a lengthy wait*
Finally recieved my acceptance papers today from College. Will be starting the spring semister in March of 2010. Am all excited and cannot wait to go. Am going to be training in "construction" driving the big trucks, amongnst other things. It's a man's job but guess what?? never under estimate the power of a woman. because a woman can do a man's job even better sometimes. I am very stong willed in heart, mind, body and soul. I am very confident in myself. I know I can do it. *big smiles*....
