Essentials:
Female, 36     Canada I am a 34 yrd. old alkie from Nova Scotia. My first drink was when I was 15. I drank on and off for yrs. But in Nov. 6/06, I lost control completely. Drank til I passed out to help me deal with the fact that I have Ovarian Cancer. My first time I tried to quit was Oct. 20/07. But I drank 2 hrs later. Then I tried again Oct. 27/07. I lasted 23 days. Then I relapsed. I then quit again Nov. 19/07 in the evening. I am sober today by the grace of my HP and these on-line AA meetings. Painting   playing my flute and piano   writing
