Today I am making changes in the way I feel and think about myself. No longer will I allow people to affect me in a negative way. I am taking control of who I let into my life. I have the power to control how people affect my life. I choose who I will love and who I will leave. The past is over, and a bright future now starts. Most important is this very moment of my life. I will choose if I will cry or smile. I will no longer let mean people hurt me. I am now wiser and stronger because I choose to use the hurtful things of the past to help me make better decisions for my present and future life. Sadness no longer controls my face because now a smile is in its place. My life strings belong to a higher power, my Savior, Jesus.
