I live in the SF Bay Area. I play guitar nearly every day. I used to be a Deadhead when I was younger. I saw 35+ Dead shows in the early '90s. I've not gone to see the surviving members since Jerry died. I moved on to find other newer bands that can generate some of the engery in their lives shows like the Dead once did. I go see live music all time time still. Interpol, TVOTR, the Cold War Kids, The Walkmen, MIA, Broken Social, the Secret Machines, Mother Hips, Neko Case, Iron & Wine and Franz Ferdinand are a few favorites. As Hunter S Thompson said, 'When the going gets weird, the weird go pro.'
