A little about me: Let's see... where to start... I was once a computer geek, but am now teaching and making pottery. As an artist, I can tell you that the work is much more fulfilling, but the pay lends itself to the true meaning of the words 'starving artist'. LOL. I have a bachelor's degree in computer science and worked in the operating systems, business recovery and data security areas for 20 years. Then I joined a group of friends to start a phone company in Minnesota, where I worked my tail off for seven years. Hmm... that could explain the lack of a tail! ;) Anyway, I've charted a new course and decided to give ceramics a go, so I teach pottery at the local Arts Center and also have my own studio and three kilns (two electric and one gas). I also hold workshops at the Arts Center in Raku firing every few months. My house is near a park where I run with friends twice a week to try to stay in decent shape. I'm 50 now, but I'm told I look 35-40. If you are interested in knowing more, let's chat! :D
