About Me: Mark is a tenured (full) Professor of Sociology (Ph.D.) at a college in the Kansas suburbs of Kansas City, born and raised in New York City and
on Long Island, with specializations in religious studies, social theory, public sociology, and clinical sociology. Sociologically, he is on the far left. Theoretically, he uses a neo-Marxian postmodern critical theory (aka new critical theory) which adds nominalism/terminism, post-structuralism, social constructionism, postpositivism (postempiricism), and critical pragmatism. Theologically, as a member of the Baha'i Faith,he combines postcritical and postliberal narrative theologies with liberation theology. He ''owns'' 27 domains and maintains 25 websites (plus four sites belonging to others). Then, he is, as an Autistic man, involved in Autistic self-advocacy (civil rights) and support work.
