'Saved by grace through faith and that not of ourselves', though, i tried hard to save myself. 'Not of works'. I tried, inviting and asking Christ into my heart, praying a prayer, opening the door of my heart, surrendering my life to Him, etc. But all was in vain. The biggest mistake was trying to turn from my sin. Which was impossible for me, and led me to near suicide. This was when i put my belief and trust in my Saviour, Jesus Christ, and His shed blood, on the Cross. There was nothing else, i could do, but to trust Christ, and Him, only!
