We have some bittersweet news to share. Starting March 20, 2025, we’ll officially say goodbye to our Paltalk Desktop Classic version.
This version has been a massive part of Paltalk’s history, and we’re sad to let it go—but the time has come to move forward.
Why the Change?
Paltalk Classic has served us well, but it’s now outdated, no longer supported, and unable to keep up with our latest version’s new and improved features. We want you to have the best chat experience possible, and that means it’s time to upgrade!
What You Need to Do
Switching over is super easy:

✅ Log in with your existing account (no need to start over!)
✅ Enjoy a smoother, faster, and feature-packed experience
What If Your Operating System Doesn’t Meet the Requirements?
If your current operating system is not Windows 7 or newer, it doesn’t meet the minimum requirements for the latest version of our desktop app, so you have a couple of options:
Upgrade Your Operating System: Updating to a supported version (Windows 7 or newer) will ensure you can continue using our desktop app with all the latest features and security enhancements.
Use Our Mobile Apps: You can still stay connected by downloading one of our mobile apps and log in with your existing account. Paltalk is available on both iOS and Android, so you never miss a chat.

What is going to happen to my active subscription and credits?
For Paltalk Classic users only, your existing subscription will remain active until the end of the current term and will not renew. Your credit balance will remain in your account until you use them.
You can still enjoy the benefits of your subscription and spend your credits on the latest Paltalk Desktop version or any of the Paltalk Mobile apps.
